Those who have dealt with cancer firsthand often want to help others affected by it. Whether you are a cancer survivor or if you care for someone with cancer, you have significant experience that can help others.
At Save A Child International, we endeavor to bring children with cancer and one accompanying parent over to the United States so that they can get the treatments and support that they need. However, we need the support of volunteers who can provide accommodation and logistics support for children and their parents as they come to the U.S. This is where you can help. By becoming a volunteer, you can make a difference in the lives of countless families.
Volunteers are needed and are a vital part of our children’s charitable organization in Atlanta, Georgia. Volunteering with us is a great opportunity for you to share your experience, be part of a team, develop lasting friendships, learn new knowledge and skills, and make a positive impact in your community. Volunteers greatly contribute to our accomplishment and we wouldn’t be able to empower and support those affected by cancer without you.
We are looking for:
- Volunteers who are dedicated to helping children and families affected by cancer
- Detail-oriented volunteers who can organize accommodations and logistics for families coming over to the United States for treatment
- Volunteers who are compassionate and understanding of the difficulties faced by children and families touched by cancer
- Experienced volunteers who have dealt with cancer – whether as a cancer survivor or as a caretaker for a loved one with cancer
